Inductance, Capacitance, Resistance and Impedance Meter

Directly measure electrical circuits' and components' inductance, capacitance, resistance and impedance with the Peak LCR45: LCR and Impedance Meter. Use your LCR45 for automatic standard component identification, or set the meter to manual mode. In either mode, the meter is able to identify the component type, values, test frequency, and complex impedance and admittance measurements. Measurements are all continuous and fluid with a hold function option.

Use the LCR45 to measure:

  • Inductance (L) - electric circuit or component property that causes an electromotive force to generate due to a change in current flow
  • Capacitance (C) - a circuit or component's ability to store an electric charge. Works with both polarized and non-polarized parts
  • Resistance (R) - the degree to which a component resists passing electrical current
  • Impedance - effective resistance of a component in regards to an alternating current; a combination of resistance and reactance

The LCR45 meter is user-friendly with a simple menu structure, auto-off, and quick start up. The meter is supplied with removable hook probes to attach to components. If you are interested in a component reader and don't need the capability to measure impedence or need manual component type detection capabilities, check out the LCR40.

Important Note: Do not connect this instrument to power equipment or components that have stored energy or charge. This analyzer is meant for use with discrete and disconnected components.
