Velleman DS-4P Piano Type DIP Switch (4 positions)

A DIP switch is a manual electric/electronic switch mounted with other switches in a “dual in-line package” or DIP. DIP switches are designed to be used on a PCB (printed circuit board). DIP switches come in different configurations, one of the most common is flat. The Velleman DS-4P is a piano type DIP switch. The “piano” style gets its name from its upright design. Because of their unique design, a large number of switches can be mounted in a small footprint.
