Velleman K8072 DMX Controlled Relay Switch Kit (Electronic Project Kit - Soldering Required)

You can add relay control to your DMX512 protocol system with the Velleman K8072 DMX Controlled Relay Switch kit. The K8072 DIY circuit has an 8A relay with an LED for relay output status and error detection. The DMX channel (512 addresses) selection is set by an on board DIP switch. The relay will activate when the DMX value of the set channel equals 140 or more and turns off when the value is 120 or less. This kit features a safe DMX data stream mode to increase stability, a relay hold function in case of DMX signal loss and a manual override function. You can use this kit with the Velleman K8062 USB DMX Interface kit to build your own computer controlled DMX automation system.

Both the K8072 and K8062 are also available in Velleman prebuilt modules, VM138 and VM116.
