Replacement Heater Cartridge Part for Velleman 3D printer K8200 and Vertex K8400


The 15V-33W heating tubes within the printer cartridges of the K8200 and K8400 Vertex 3D Printers are the source of the massive amount of heat required to melt the thermoplastic PLA and ABS filaments up to 473 degrees fahrenheit!

Once the print job has been started through the 3D printer’s software (Repetier), the heating tubes within the printer cartridge begin heating the printer nozzle(s) in order to melt the printer filament. The melted filaments are printed on top of the Buildtak 3D Print Bed Surface. You may notice some splattering during the first print, this is normal, and does not indicate a problem with the printer cartridge.
