Upgrade your Velleman K8400: Vertex 3D Printer Kit into a Dual Extruder 3D Printer by adding a 2nd extruder nozzle. The K8402 upgrade kit comes with all the hardware you need to convert your single extruder Vertex 3D Printer into a dual head/color machine, allowing you to add a second color filament to your 3D printed projects without switching out filament rolls mid-print.

Expand your printing possibilities and project colors. Code which nozzle you'd like to use or switch to within Slic3r, Sketchup or your preferred 3D printing tool. With the K8402 and the K8400 firmware update, your K8400 Vertex 3D Printer will automatically switch and heat the corresponding nozzle and continue printing.

Please Note: If you’ve been using your Vertex K8400 as a single extruder, you will need to update the Vertex 3D printer dual head firmware. The K8402 Dual Extruder Upgrade Kit is ONLY compatible with the Velleman K8400: Vertex 3D Printer Kit.
